Patriots: Your time has come — game over!
February 1, 2018
The Super Bowl is right around the corner and it’s time to decide who you want to take home the Lombardi Trophy. The lineup this year is the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wait, the Patriots, again you ask?
Why yes, the Patriots are once again in the Super Bowl — a game they’ve already won five times!
There are many Patriot fans out there rooting them on the sidelines; however, there are also many who can’t wait to see them be destroyed by the Eagles.
Let me share with you the top 10 reasons the Patriots deserve to lose.
10. “Deflategate.” Need I say more?
9.They lost to the Miami Dolphins … and that’s saying something.
8. Patriot fans, you have to realize every dynasty must come to an end.
7. After five wins in the Super Bowl, you’d think head coach Bill Belichick could afford a new shirt.
6. Cheaters never win. Oh, wait, actually they did win, Super Bowl XLIX.
5. Tell Grandma to pull the bus around, your five years of fame are over.
4. Nobody likes a toe ring … five Super Bowl rings are enough.
3. Time to wipe that smirk off your face after this weekend; you’ll have nothing to smile about.
2. Refer back to reason No. 9
And the No. 1 reason the New England Patriots should lose is…
A true Patriot stands for the National Anthem.
In case you were lost, the Patriots obviously don’t deserve to win. Nor will they ever deserve a win, if I’m being honest here.
This team lacks many qualities that make up a strong lineup, unless of course you include the officials, who apparently have a side contract with the Patsies.
The Patriots are airheads. They think they can go in and beat any team but that was proven wrong when they lost to the Dolphins.
All their fans claim that they are one of the best, but we’ll just see how the New England Patriots hold up this Sunday in Super Bowl LII against the Philadelphia Eagles. Will they be able to pull in a win … unlikely.
