Cookies are a delicious snack or dessert made by many grandmas. A lesser-known kind of cookie is a monster cookie. When regular cookies get boring monster cookies are a good alternative. They have a variety of flavors and textures like the crunch of the oatmeal, the smooth peanut butter, the melted chocolate of the M&M’s, and a hint of caramel from the brown sugar.

For a sweet snack, these are the superior choice. The peanut butter and oatmeal make them more filling and give them some protein that will help you get through the day. These cookies are very easy to make unique by changing some of the ingredients like almond butter instead of peanut butter or reeses pieces instead of M&M’s.

Making monster cookies is a little bit harder than making regular cookies, but it is worth the time and mess. This family recipe makes 50-60 cookies and will take about an hour to an hour and a half.
