Class of 2018: IT’S TIME!

The Powell High School graduation ceremony will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, in the PHS gym.

Powell High School’s Class of 2018 graduates this Sunday, May 20, at 2 p.m.

Doors to the high school and PHS gymnasium will open to the public at 1 p.m. There is no reserved seating.

Seniors are expected to be in the auxiliary gym no later than 1:15 p.m.

The PHS administration asks the following of seniors:

  • Appropriate clothing: slacks and a shirt for the gentlemen; dresses, skirts/blouses or pant suits for ladies. Clean shoes and more of a dress shoe or dress boot. No flip-flops or bare feet.
  • Demonstrate behavior that is respectful of all speakers, including fellow classmates.
  • No toys.
  • No writing or markings of any kind on caps and clothing.
  • No noisemakers.

Also on Sunday, May 20, the Senior Bash will be staged at the Park County Fairgrounds. Check-in begins at 8:30 p.m., and the event will run 9 p.m.-midnight. Seniors are reminded that if they exit the event, they will not be permitted to return.
