Powell High school’s environmental science class took a field trip on Thursday, Sept. 20, and toured the northern part of Yellowstone National Park, spending most of their time at Mammoth Hot Springs. Student Abigail Cubbage, who also serves as photo editor of The Prowl, PHS’s online student newspaper, photographed the trip.

Thanks to the teachers who take the time and effort into teaching our kids about one of the great wonders of Wyoming! Also home to the largest magma chamber in the world…..it’s not a matter of IF, but WHEN….
