5-MINUTE WASTES OF TIME

Making chores go by quicker saves time, and time is money. Everyone wants to take the easy way out of everyday tasks.
The demand for such hacks has given rise to the infamous “5-Minute Crafts” platform. But as this social media account has grown, it has gone from giving useful tips to being flat out dumb.
One of the recent videos that went viral features a lady eating cereal. She is using a spoon but it is upside down. The solution to the problem is not to turn the spoon around, but to hammer in the rounded side so she can eat her cereal. I actually lost brain cells watching it. What happened to all the good content?
Instead of scouring the internet or relying on watching useless videos of women making pants into dresses, I have compiled the following list of useless hacks:
-
You ever wondered how to hold your pants up? Here’s a trick used by professionals: Use a belt. You’ll never have to be embarrassed about your pants falling down in public ever again.
-
Tired of boiling water everytime you make pasta? Boil a few gallons at the beginning of the week and then freeze it for later. This is super effective and saves so much time.
-
Eggs are really healthy and should be the foundation of your diet. Don’t like the taste? Add cocoa, butter, flour and bake for 30 minutes.
-
Are you running low on money because you have to pay for three meals every day? Sleeping until noon eliminates this problem. You only have to pay for lunch and dinner. No Starbucks or expensive scones equals more money in your pocket.
-
Smell gas at home? Why waste time calling a gas company? Locate the suspected leak by lighting a match in each room of the house until a loud explosion reveals the source of the gas leak.
-
Does your car make an unsettling noise when you drive it? If you turn the radio up loud enough, the noise will go away, thus solving the problem.
-
Now that it’s getting cold outside, hard boil a couple of eggs just before you leave the house and put them in your coat pockets. They stay toasty and warm for ages, and when they cool down you can take them out and eat them for a delicious snack.
-
Batteries dead in your smoke alarm? Just use a bag of popcorn instead. When you hear the crackling, grab your popcorn and get out of the house.
-
Water has a lot of benefits to your phone. You can use it to magnify the screen if the text is too small for you to read. And you can also use it to cool down your phone if it overheats.
-
Look up gullible in the dictionary. Can’t find it?
Don’t listen to any of these hacks. You’re nuts if you believe all of this nonsense. They are only meant to create laughter and not to be taken seriously. Instead of trying to find the easiest way to do things, just do it right
