REAL OR IMAGINED?

A look at new or developing conspiracy theories

Denver International Airport is home to many theories behind it (maybe underneath it), with its strange artwork and underground buildings.

Conspiracy theories have made a major comeback and no, I am not talking about Shane Dawson’s collaboration with makeup guru Jeffree Star’s “Conspiracy” pallette.

Time and time again we hear of many conspiracy theories that can’t possibly be true, but somehow our subconscious believes it.

Whether it is remembering things the way we’d like to rather than the way they actually happened, or claiming that an American never stepped foot on the moon, we all like to hear the gibberish people come up with.

Here are some new or revised conspiracy theories:

Denver International Airport

There are endless conspiracies behind, or underneath, Denver International Airport. Many believe it has a hidden underground meeting place for the members of the Illuminati.

According to Business Insider, the airport going over its original construction budget by $2 billion is thought to have been to fund the underground headquarters for the Illuminati. The airport claims that it went over its budget due to faulty building materials  being used that they buried instead of using, which makes for really great headquarters.

The airport is known for its arrangement of creepy and strange artwork that nobody really knows the meaning to, including a terrifying 32-foot statue that stands in front of the airport haunting many with its red eyes. Blust Mustang, which killed its sculptor in the process of making it, is a giant horse statue which greets people coming to this airport.

It was funded by “The New World Airport Commission,” which when looking it up on the internet nothing shows up, therefore many speculate that its is actually funded by Nazi group ‘New World Order’.

It is also believed to have underground shelters or bunkers to protect world leaders in. There are claims that when it was first built there was an underground baggage system in its bowels that were never fixed despite the amount of space it takes up.

Area 51 Raid

What was meant to be a meme became a very well known event this past year. Late in 2019 a raid into Area 51 was jokingly implied. Those involved said the government couldn’t stop many people storming the area all at once, many people decided to camp out by the Nevada desert for a few days.

Many left the area disappointed that they hadn’t seen much while being in the dessert. The event took place on Sept. 20, 2019. For years the area has been believed to be used as a facility for aliens to be tested in and as a Facebook joke somebody posted a meme saying,”Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.”

The even ended up not being as successful as hoped as it was rumored to have been cancelled and surrounding towns lack of tourist areas. Although there was no raid either days of the events many people had shown up but to enjoy the silly (?) event.

JonBenét Ramsey Case

Looking up the Jonbenet case Twenty Two Words gave 30 creepy facts of the case that are too shocking to simply look over.

Many still wonder about the infamous case of the late JonBenét Ramsey, the child pageant queen who was born to succeed in the pageant world. Sadly, at the age of 6 she was found dead the morning of Dec. 26, 1996. There were signs of asphyxiation by strangulation and craniocerebral trauma.

The night before the Ramsey family had hosted a Christamas party and claimed to have gone to bed at 9 p.m. The next day Patsy Ramsey woke up at 5 a.m. and found a three-page ransom note on the stairs. The writer of the ransom note claimed that they had taken JonBenét, and the police were called.

Many believe the Ramseys killed their own daughter; especially the mother, Patsy, is suspected of murdering her daughter out of spite and jealousy. The ransom note is said to have some “motherly” elements to it.

Others believed that a sexual predator who had been obsessed with JonBenét  broke into the house in the middle of the night and tried to take JonBenét but ended up accidentally killing her. There was no sign of a break in and no sign of footprints outside on the snow.

 JFK and Abraham Lincoln

The many coincidences between the late Presidents of the United States might be too weird to not notice or question.

According to Snopes, Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846 while John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Lincoln later was elected president in 1860 and 100 years after that, Kennedy was elected.

This might seem to be simple coincidences, things that could happen to anyone, but it only gets weirder. Both their wives lost children while living in the White House, and JFK and Lincoln were both shot on a Friday, in the head.

Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy, while Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln. Both secretaries warned the presidents to not attend the theatre or Dallas motorcade. After they were both killed by southerners, they both were succeeded by southerners.

The successors of the office were both born in 08 dates, Andrew Johnson was born in 1808 and Lyndon Johnson was  born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, Linocln’s assassin, was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, Kennedy’s assassin, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were killed before their trials. Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse, while Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.

Disney’s Frozen

Prior to the Disney animated movie Frozen announcement date, the only thing that would come up when looking up the words “frozen” and “Disney” were theories of the late Walt Disney’s head/body being frozen after his death.

A few months leading up to Disney’s death due to lung cancer, it is rumored he had asked to have been frozen in order for his body to hopefully one day be able to revive him and have enough advancements in technology and medicine to help his case.

Walt Disney’s health had taken a toll and was quickly plummeting and medicine at the time didn’t seem to help. Many believe that the movie Frozen was created in order to become the first thing that pops up when searching the words ‘Frozen’ and ‘Disney’.

His infatuation with the future and technology fueled the rumors. The announcement of his death was said to have been delayed to give scientists time to freeze the body. His body is said to be underneath the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland  In Anaheim, California. It awaits the day where technology is advanced enough in reviving his body.
