Out of the way slow-pokes

A need for faster walkers in the hallways

(EDITOR’S NOTE: Those who are faint of heart, are offended easily, tend to walk very slowly and spend too much time gabbing between classes … read on. You’ll be glad you did.)

To the people who walk too slow and on the wrong side of hallway, I hope you don’t have a driver’s license.

It’s an unspoken rule and just common sense. Please walk on the right side of the hallway — and fast.

Sure, maybe you have lunch next so you’re not in a hurry. But when you and all your friends take up the right of the hallway and yes, you’re going painfully slow, everyone else can’t get where they need to be.

Would you swim upstream against a fast current? Would you drive on the left side of the road? (You’re not from England!)  Probably not. So why would you walk against the traffic?

We have been in school for a while now; please stop walking on the left side. If your class is on the left side of the hallway just find the right time to go through the crowd, don’t just walk in everyone’s way.

When I’m walking from the purple pod the green pod and all these people are taking their sweet time walking, or they just full on stop walking to talk to their friends, I get very annoyed. Go stand in the commons and talk to your friends. Don’t waste valuable hallway space.

Please stop making the hallways so hard to walk through.
