Abby Thiel is a slightly caffeine addicted PHS sophomore who never expected to be in journalism. She is open to trying anything and everything, other than new foods. You can either find her out with her horses or with her friends. During the school year, Abby usually spends her time managing the girls swim team (don’t ask her why she's not in the water with them), or with her friends in drama.

Abby’s family would say that drama is a natural fit for her because she has been a “drama queen all her life.” This might not come across at school, but those who know her best, know her ability to overreact is unparalleled.

If you wonder why Abby has become addicted to caffeine, it is because she loves to stay up late watching her favorite movies or shows over and over and over and over etc… Ask her anything about Gilmore Girls, Heartland, Grey’s Anatomy, or any of the Pitch Perfect Movies and she can enlighten you.

“Abby is a hard worker and has an amazing personality. She can be fun and outgoing, but knows when to focus and how to get jobs done,” says one of her best friends, Patricia Christensen.

She does love to have fun with her friends, but as far as working hard, Abby would argue that that depends on the project.
